Motorcycle Track Days

Meet Roger Lyle

Roger Lyle is the owner of Motorcycle Xcitement Track Days and Road Racing School. He is a lifelong motorcycle enthusiast and has raced motorcycles for 50 years. He has conducted motorcycle racing schools and track days for 40 years and taught riders how to have fun on their motorcycles in the safety of a road course. He has been thanked and told that he has saved countless lives from the lessons he teaches to motorcyclists.

 

Roger is a founding father (1983) and President Emeritus of the Mid-Atlantic Road Racing Club (MARRC) and the MARRC Safety Crew. Roger has two National Championships in Motorcycle Endurance Racing. Roger is a safety advocate for motorcycle riders and racers and has suggested and made safety improvements at Summit Point Raceway. He worked as Safety Director for Daytona International Speedway Motorcycle Events, the Daytona 200 in the spring and the Race of Champions in the fall from 1987 to 1996. Roger worked as National Safety Director for FormulaUSA Motorcycle Road Racing from 1999 to 2001.

  

Motorcycle Xcitement track days and road racing schools are held at Summit Point Motorsports Park at the legendary Summit Point Raceway, the fun and challenging Shenandoah Circuit and Jefferson Circuit. We also hold event weekends at NCCAR / NCBIKE in Garysburg, NC, with track manager Sam True.
